Frequently asked questions
Every property is visited in person before it goes on the site. The inspection covers architecture, upkeep, privacy and the standard of the local team; what does not pass is not published. No house enters the catalogue on the owner's word alone.
Nightly rates in the catalogue run from R$ 1,240 for a suite in a boutique guesthouse to R$ 34,000 for an eight-suite oceanfront estate in Trancoso. Most fully staffed villas sit between R$ 9,000 and R$ 22,000 a night, usually with a four- to five-night minimum in high season. All prices are in Brazilian reais, which is also the currency charged.
In properties marked as fully staffed, the rate includes a chef, a barman, housekeepers and a caretaker for the agreed hours, plus daily cleaning and the beach set-up. Groceries, drinks and excursions are charged separately and arranged by the team before check-in.
Coverage runs from Morro de São Paulo, in the Tinharé archipelago, down to Caraíva and Corumbau in the far south. In between are Itacaré and Serra Grande, the Maraú Peninsula, Praia do Forte, Salvador, Porto Seguro, Arraial d'Ajuda, Praia do Espelho, Santo André and Trancoso.
