Mangue Seco — Bahia's last beach.

An isolated village behind a field of dunes, on the Sergipe border, reached by boat along the Real river and then by buggy. There is no paved road in — and that is precisely the point.

The practical route is via Aracaju (AJU): 100 km to Pontal, 40 min by boat along the Real river, then buggy across the dunes. From Salvador, about 250 km.
